The
Casino

The athletic heart of Georgian Court, the Casino has a history of sports back to the days of the Goulds, who, in the early twentieth century, enjoyed indoor polo matches, bowling, court tennis, swimming and a number of other diversions during the winter months.

Today, the Casino is still sports central, housing the gymnasium, the pool, the exercise room, the locker rooms and the Offices of Athletics and Recreation.

In addition to basketball and volleyball, the Casino’s auditorium is the setting for many special events, including Fall Convocation, the Senior Winter Formal and the annual State of the University Address.

The restored Casino Ballroom is one of the most popular spots on campus for meetings, conferences and social gatherings.

The building also houses the offices of Career Development and Student Development, as well as Student Support Services, the Health Center, the Counseling Center and the Office of Conferences and Special Events.
