We live in a global society in which how we understand and respect ourselves, our community, and our environment can change the world. The natural and social science, mathematics, and social work programs have joined forces to break new ground in the discovery of connections among all aspects of life. Using the latest research findings and tools of technology, we begin the adventure of discovery and rediscovery.

The School of Sciences and Mathematics believes that education itself is an exciting and transforming experience. Students develop as learners and leaders through courses in the natural sciences, social sciences, mathematics, and social work, and through interdisciplinary research, service learning, and cocurricular experiences. Students graduate ready to bring their best to the improvement of all humanity.
