Psychology

Psychology Club:

The Psychology Club, open to all students interested in psychology, hosts discussion groups, speakers, trips, and social functions.

Psi Chi (International Honor Society in Psychology):

Psi Chi is open to psychology majors and minors who have completed at least 12 credits in Psychology, who have a 3.5 overall average and a 3.6 average in the psychology major courses.

Graduate Students in School Psychology and Applied Behavior Analysis are also eligible to join Psi Chi. Graduate students must have completed at least 12 credits in Psychology, 3.5 overall GPA, and have received no grade lower than a "B" in any course.

Psi Chi sponsors trips, speakers, social events, and an annual research project. The faculty sponsors of Psi Chi are Dr. Mancuso and Dr. Field.

Psi Chi Application Process:

  • The deadline for applications for the 2014-2015 induction class is February 9th, 2015
  • All applications must be submitted through the Psi Chi National Website: Psi Chi Application
  • Do not submit national ($55) or chapter ($40) dues until you receive formal notice that you have been accepted for membership 
  • Membership dues (both national and chapter) are one time only dues.
  • The Psi Chi induction ceremony is tentatively scheduled for April 2015.
