“Mrs. Gould” Returns for the Holidays at Georgian Court
Lakewood, N.J., Oct. 26, 2012—Step back in time to the early 1900s, and celebrate the holiday season with “Mrs. Gould” at her 11th annual holiday social, which is back by popular demand at Georgian Court University from November 7 through December 23.
The social, which is part of GCU’s popular Biographies at The Court series, gives audiences a glimpse into the lives of Edith and George Gould and their seven children. The performances are staged in the Mansion on Georgian Court’s historic Lakewood campus. The Mansion, completed in 1898, was home to the Gould family for more than 20 years.
Available shows are on November 7, 8, 10, 13, 14, 17, 24, 28, 29; December 1, 8, 11, 15, 18, 19, 20, 22 (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays) at 11:30 a.m. and November 18, 25; December 2, 9, 16, 23 (Sundays) at 3:00 p.m.
Tickets are $42 per person and include the performance and a tea luncheon. Because availability is limited, prepurchase of tickets is required for all performances.
