GCU to Host Wellness Summit in Partnership with Meridian Healthcare Systems
Lakewood, N.J., May 5, 2011—On May 6 and 7, join the GCU Department of Holistic Health in partnership with Meridian Healthcare Systems, the Ocean County Health Department, and the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services, for a Wellness Summit. You’ll discover ways to prevent disease and improve your health; including solutions to balance problems and memory enhancement.
In this two-day event, learn how to take consideration of all aspects of personal needs—psychological, mental, physical, and social—thus, maintaining balance to remain in optimum health and better treat and manage disease. While attending this workshop, you can expect to enjoy guest speakers, workshops, a nature walk, aromatherapy session, well-balanced lunches and snacks—and so much more. For full schedule, see below.
Reservations are required for this event. It will take place on May 6 (Friday) and May 7 (Saturday) from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with registration beginning at 8:30 a.m. in the Little Theatre on GCU’s Lakewood campus. The cost is $50 for both days; $30 for one day only. Paid McAuley Institute for Lifelong Learning members receive a $5 discount each day, and GCU students with ID can attend for free. Lunch is included both days for all paying participants.
