Swing into Spring with Georgian Court’s Musical Events
Lakewood, N.J., Mar. 14, 2011—Another season of musical talent is underway as Georgian Court prepares for their Spring 2011 concert season, which kicks off with the annual Jazz Ensemble Spring Concert at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 19, in the Ruggiero Room on the Lakewood campus. The performance series, which continues through May, offers something for everyone.
GCU Spring 2011 Music Schedule
- Student and Faculty Recital, Sunday, April 10, 7:30 p.m., in the Dorothy Marron University Community Chapel
- Concert Band Spring Concert, Monday, April 11, 7:30 p.m., in the Casino Auditorium
- Chorale Spring Concert, Saturday, May 7, 7:30 p.m., in the Casino Auditorium
- Court Singers and Guitar Ensemble Concert, Monday, May 9, 7:30 p.m., in the Dorothy Marron University Community Chapel
The Jazz Ensemble Concert and Student and Faculty Recital are free. All other concerts are $10 for guests, $5 for senior citizens or non-GCU students, and free to the Georgian Court community. Reservations are not required; admission may be obtained at the door.
