GCU Welcomes Celtic Nights with Tony Kenny for Irish Afternoon
Production Celebrates Georgian Court’s 30th Annual Irish Afternoon
Lakewood, N.J., Feb. 16, 2011—Everybody’s Irish when it comes to enjoying Irish Afternoon, now in its 30th year at Georgian Court University. Each year, hundreds of fans join in the St. Patrick’s Day spirit during a special program hosted by GCU. This year’s celebration—slated for 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 6—marks the return of Celtic Nights: A Celebration of Irish Music, Song, Dance, and Laughter with Tony Kenny. The show features the talents of Tony Kenny, the star of Jury’s Irish Cabaret; Joe Cuddy, Ireland’s funniest man; and the Celtic Nights Dancers. This year’s program also includes special guest star Michael English, currently Ireland’s hottest performer.
The celebration will take place in the Casino Auditorium on GCU’s Lakewood campus. VIP tickets, which include prime seating and a post-concert meet-and-greet reception with Tony Kenny in GCU’s historic Mansion, are $57. General admission tickets are $32 in advance and $47 at the door. About Tony Kenny
Tony Kenny has thrilled audiences all over the world, entertaining over two million people with his exceptional talent. He began his career as the star of the internationally acclaimed musicals Jesus Christ Superstar and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
