Lakewood, N.J., Apr. 2, 2009—Georgian Court University is holding its Centennial Golf Classic on Monday, April 27, at the Eagle Oaks Golf and Country Club in Farmingdale, New Jersey. All proceeds from the Centennial Golf Classic will be used to benefit the students of Georgian Court University. The annual fund-raiser is in its 14th year, and this year is part of the university’s Centennial Celebration.
The day’s itinerary begins with registration at 10:00 a.m., followed by a barbecue brunch at 10:30 a.m. and a shotgun start at 12:00 noon. Format of play will be a modified scramble, and participants will be awarded golf prizes for the closest-to-the-pin on designated par 3 hole and men’s and women’s longest drives; and more. During the raffle drawing, participants can enter to win up to $10,000 cash with only 400 tickets available.
Sponsorships start at $300 and go up to $10,000. The cost for a foursome, which includes greens fees, brunch, golf cart use, cocktail reception, and gourmet buffet dinner, is $1,900. The cost for an individual golfer is $500.
