Learn to Develop Your Own Personal Eating Style for Maximum Health at Georgian Court University
Lakewood, N.J., Jan. 16, 2009—Georgian Court University presents “The Complete You: Food for Thought Featuring Michael Glynn, N.D.,” on Monday, February 9, at 6:30 p.m. in the Casino Ballroom on the Lakewood campus, 900 Lakewood Avenue. The event is free, but reservations are required by calling 732.987.2263.
If you are concerned about modern-day food distribution and food processing, join Dr. Michael Glynn for a discussion on how to take an active role in enhancing your individual wellness.
“A body that is well maintained until death is constantly restoring, regenerating, rejuvenating, and repairing every moment of every day of our lives,” says Dr. Glynn. “A billion cells die in an adult human body every day, and we replace these billion cells by restoring, regenerating, rejuvenating, and repairing. The clock has to do with the raw materials we’re giving the body to work with.”
Dr. Glynn, who holds a doctorate in naturopathic medicine and has been in private practice for 30 years, will teach audience members how to use a natural approach in developing their own personal eating styles. Dr. Glynn hosts “Food for Thought,” which airs on radio stations in the tri-state area and San Francisco.
“One of the focuses of Georgian Court University is wellness for the whole person, and for everyone across the lifespan,” says Sachiko Komagata, Ph.D., director of GCU’s holistic health program. “We wanted to bring Dr. Glynn to campus to help us become more aware of a healthier, more natural lifestyle, especially through the food we eat,” she added. “Dr. Glynn will make us think, feel, and eventually act on behalf of our own wellness.”
