University College Announces Programs for Businesses
New Program Allows Business Employees to Obtain Essential Training
Lakewood, N.J., Mar. 5, 2007—On Thursday, March 8, Georgian Court University will host an information session on all University College programs, including its new program for business training. The programs are offered through Georgian Court’s University College, which includes coeducational undergraduate and graduate programs within the university. The information session will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Room 165 of the Arts and Science Center on GCU’s Lakewood campus.
University College of Georgian Court University now offers a Business Communications program that can be taught at an employer's site. This program gives employees the planning, writing, presenting, and communication skills so vital in business.
“This is a way for employees in local businesses to both solidify their on the job skills and complete their college education,” says Joseph Molitoris, Ph.D., director of University College. “Many adult workers, women and men, began their college education years ago, but did not complete it. This program gives them that opportunity both during work hours at their business location and after work hours at our Lakewood campus.”
The March 8 information session will have more information on the Business Communications program as well as 35 other high school, undergraduate, graduate, teacher education, and business training programs offered by University College. To register for the event or to get more information on any of these programs, please contact University College at 732.987.2132 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
