Women in Film
Instructor: Lisa Festa, Ph.D., GCU Associate Professor of Art
Celebrate Women’s History Month with an exploration
of the role of women in cinema, with an emphasis on
political, religious, cultural, and social issues. Participants
will watch the movies independently prior to each session
to prepare for discussion. Film clips may be viewed.

Hollywood Jesus
Instructor: Jim Bridges, Ph.D., GCU Lecturer in Religious
Studies
Explore the ways in which Hollywood has chosen to
portray Jesus over the past century. Numerous extended
film clips will be shown and discussed.
