Art Abstracts 1984-
Indexes & abstracts journals in art and related fields, with abstracts starting in 1994. This database is part of WilsonWeb, but more extensive than the art subset in Wilson OmniFile. For best results in Wilson, select both Art Abstracts and Omnifile simultaneously.

Grove Art Online
The Grove dictionary of art contains 45,000 articles on every aspect of the visual arts: painting, sculpture, graphic arts, architecture, decorative arts and photography - from prehistory to the present day. Includes 35,000 images.

Grove Music Online
Grove Music Online comprises the full text of The New Grove Dictionary of Music and Musicians, second edition, edited by Stanley Sadie and John Tyrrell (London, 2001), The New Grove Dictionary of Opera, edited by Stanley Sadie (London, 1992), and The New Grove Dictionary of Jazz, second edition, edited by Barry Kernfeld (London, 2002). Articles are updated online.

Humanities Abstracts

JSTOR
Full-image archival database of scholarly journals. The most current issues, 2-5 years, are not included due to publishers' restrictions.

Project Muse
Online collection of scholarly journals in the arts, humanities, and social sciences. MUSE covers many different subject areas including literature, history, political science, economics, education, film, philosophy, religion, and womens studies.


General Databases

Academic Search Premier- Funded by the New Jersey State Library and the New Jersey Knowledge Initiative    undefined 
Indexes journals covering the social sciences, humanities, education, computer science, ethnic studies and more. Provides full-text articles from more than 3200 scholarly periodicals.

Wilson OmniFile 1982-
Indexes more than 2,200 periodicals in business, humanities, science, education and the social sciences, as well as popular magazines. Includes abstracts beginning in 1984, and full-text of 900 periodicals starting in 1994. To search the art section of the database, click on the arrow to the right of the Subject Area box and select from the list.
