Whole person development is the primary goal for the Holistic Health program. Undergraduate (minor or certificate) and graduate (MA & Certificate) programs are available in Holistic Health. In addition to traditional classroom instructions, our Graduate Certificate in Holistic Health can be attained fully online in 11 months while the development of fully online MA is underway. Our graduates are ready to take leadership roles in advocating, educating, practicing Holistic Health with various professional backgrounds, such as nursing, social work, dietetics, personal training, wellness coaching/consulting, and teaching. The Exercise Science program offers a B.S. degree, as well as minors in Exercise Science, Coaching Women Athletes, and a Pre-Physical Therapy track. The major in Exercise Science, Wellness and Sports prepares students to work in the health and fitness industry, evaluating health behaviors and risk factors, motivating others to develop healthy lifestyles, assessing fitness, and developing fitness and exercise programs. Graduates of the program will be employed in universities, hospitals, corporate settings, and commercial and community settings. Additionally, the Exercise Science program will prepare students for graduate programs in the fields of exercise science, physician’s assistant, physical therapy or athletic training. Students may wish to minor in Sports Management, Holistic Health, Business, Psychology or one of the natural sciences to achieve their career goals. Learn More!
