Georgian Court University Invites You to Bid “Riverdance” a Fond Farewell
Lakewood, N.J., March 17, 2008—Riverdance, the thunderous celebration of Irish music, song, and dance that has tapped its way onto the world stage, will play eight farewell performances at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark. Georgian Court University invites you to be part of this once-in-a-lifetime event on Sunday, April 27. Discover why nothing in the world compares to “The Original International Phenomenon”! Whether it’s your first time or your fifth, you won’t want to miss these final performances at NJPAC.
Weaving ancient Celtic mythology and Irish history, Riverdance draws on Irish traditions and the combined talents of the performers to propel Irish dancing and music to the present day, capturing the imagination of audiences across all ages and cultures.
Transportation will be provided from the Lakewood campus’s Seventh Street Gate at 11:00 a.m. with an additional departure from the Garden State Parkway Cheesequake rest area between 11:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. for the 3:00 p.m. show.
Tickets are $145 per person, which includes orchestra seating, round-trip transportation from the campus or GSP rest area to the theater, and snacks. Lunch before the performance at the Theatre Square Grill is also included.
