SPRING BREAK

 Permanent link

Hey guys. Hope everyone had a good and relaxing break. I did. It was soo much fun . So now we are back and school has begun to do what it knows how to do best, kill us.

Any way, I have so much work to do, but I did not stop by last week because of the spring break, so I know a lot of things have occured since I was last here.

I have a lot of homework and test already, it's ridiculous. Well I hope you all are having a good week.

Have a good one

MONDAY--the week begins

 Permanent link

It's only Monday and I feel like it is Wednesday. It's funny how school just keeps hitting you in the face. Today I was in my Data collection and analysis class and so many people just looked so zoned out and exhausted. It's because they were. Even though the weekend is there for you to relax and rest, all the work from the week due by Monday need to be done. So you start the week feeling so tired, imagine what happens by Wednesday.

I figured out a way to try and reduce this feeling of fatigue.

1. Just keep telling yourself it will be ok

2. Do not stop smiling, it lifts you up and everyone around you too.

3. Take a run(by some magical way, you feel stronger afterwards)

4. Eat breakfast, it sets you off for the rest of the day.

5. Be thankful and you will see that things are not so bad after-all.

I hope you guys have a great week, with all the tests and assignments. Don't worry, even though it is not easy, it is definitely worth it.

Till next week

MID-WEEK CRISIS

 Permanent link

It has been such a long week, and it's only Wednesday. Sometimes school seems impossible to balance. Especially if you are really involved in so many school activities. This week has been incredibly stressful, with at least one exam each day. On the bright side though, I am really excited about today because I am getting to host an overnight prospective student. That should be a lot of fun, especially since she needs to follow me everywhere, to work, class, you name it.

I hope everyone is having a great week, although I know it is crazy, just hang in there, 2 days to go till Friday.

I will be seeing you all soon.

                                                      Remember God cares.

FACEBOOK ALERT!!!

Have you ever been stuck on face book for way more than you bargained for? Well I have. face book has become a disaster to college students. In fact, it is almost like part of homework. A doze of face book-in before and after class, during unnecessary homework breaks, and so on.

When face book started, I was so excited because I got to talk to my friends back home, and in other schools. It made me feel a little bit more comfortable. Now, people not only use face book to communicate with friends and family, but to advertise things and show off every event of their lives with incredible amounts of pictures.

It is very interesting though ,I found out recently that employers, coaches, teachers and some parents have started joining and  monitoring face book to see what their present or potential, children, athletes or employees are up to.

Well, I think we should all be very careful with face book and all other sites of it's kind. Most especially us, students, spend more time on school work and less time on face book guys.

Hope everyone is aging a great week. Till next week.

Back To School From SGA Retreat.

 Permanent link

Wow! I cannot believe how fast the week and the WEEKENDS run. It is unbelievable. It's Sunday night and I am no where done with my homework for this week. Well, I did not have most of my weekend to myself since I went for SGA retreat. On the more positive end, the retreat was a lot of fun. We went to Glen Coven Mansion in Long Island, NY. The hotel was really nice and the food was great. Yes, these are some of the benefits of being a member of SGA, you get to go on extravagant, exciting retreats. Don't get me wrong though, you work hard as well, lol, trust me , you do. We had so much planning to do.

It was really nice we got to get away from school craziness for a day. I also got to bond better with my class officials. :) good times, good times. Now I am back on campus to school, and I have to do A LOT of homework, lol. You know, I actually think I might be going to bed by like 3am today. Well I hope you all are having an awesome semester so far, if not make it happen. You make life exactly what you want it to be.

Good night and have a blessed week. Till next week guys. Remember life's what you make it.

Cast  your burden on the Lord and He will sustain you.
