Master of Business Administration

The Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) program at Georgian Court will accommodate your lifestyle to enable you to work, learn, and develop the key analytical concepts and tools you need for business success today.

The program is geared toward professionals who want an M.B.A. but don’t want to interrupt their careers. For accomplished and busy professionals, the program offers the opportunity to sharpen your business leadership skills and knowledge. M.B.A. candidates apply ethical and moral values in business decision making to case studies throughout the program.

Business Meeting

The M.B.A. at GCU @ Cumberland is delivered in an accelerated format that meets every Saturday for one year. Each cohort requires a minimum of 12 students.

One-Year (Accelerated) Program
The M.B.A. program is 36 credits earned through a blend of classroom and online courses.
In the one-year program, coursework is offered every Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Students take four classes per semester.

Credit breakdown per semester:

  • 12 credits Fall
  • 12 credits Spring
  • 6 credits Summer 1
  • 6 credits Summer 2

Your undergraduate transcripts will be evaluated for the core skills required to enter the M.B.A. program. These are courses that are the skill base of a business program.

For applicants without formal coursework in business, coursework will be assigned prior to starting the M.B.A. program. Multiple options are available.

Who Benefits from the Program?
The ideal candidate is an active learner with a good understanding of different functional areas of business gained through formal business education and/or real-life experience.

How Do I Apply?
Candidates interested in the program should:

  • Complete and submit the GCU Graduate Application for Admission.
  • Arrange for official submission of all previous undergraduate and graduate transcripts.
  • Submit a $40 application fee.
  • Submit two letters of recommendation attesting to your professional qualifications to enter the program.
  • Submit a current résumé.

Once your completed application is reviewed, you can schedule an interview with a program director/advisor.
