Services
Liturgy
Sunday Mass is celebrated at 5 PM in the Dorothy Marron University Community Chapel on most Sundays during which classes are in session.*
A daily Mass is celebrated:
Monday through Thursday 8 a.m.
Monday and Wednesday 5 p.m
*Please consult our online calendar for special Mass times, changes to the Sunday Mass schedule, and Holy Day Mass times.
We invite you to join our celebrations and to consider becoming a Eucharistic Minister, Lector, or hospitality minister. GCU annually trains and installs new liturgical ministers.
Sacrament of Penance
Campus Ministry sponsors two communal services of the Sacrament of Penance each academic year. One service is held during Advent and the second is held during Lent. Confessions are heard throughout the year upon request.
Celebration Singers
Campus Ministry invites all students to become members of our chapel choir. We also welcome cantors/song leaders and instrumentalists. Our ensemble plays an integral role in GCU’s Sunday Masses, as well as Holy Day Masses and other special liturgies. If interested please contact Sister Mariann Mahon.
Prayers and Prayer Services
Prayers for special needs may be requested by the GCU campus community through Campus Ministry, and will be offered during daily or Sunday mass and/or posted on the “GCU Community News.”
Prayer services such as peace vigils and responses to community and global needs are planned as the need arises, and may take place in the chapel, near the Peace Pole, or at other locations on campus.
Interfaith services
We invite those of all faiths to join us in the planning and implementation of these services. For information, please call or visit the Campus Ministry Office.
