Guaranteed Admissions: Brookdale Community College & Georgian Court University
When it comes to maximizing your lifetime earnings, having a college degree is more important than ever.
And for many students, the road to earning a degree begins at schools like Brookdale Community College and continues at Georgian Court University through the new Guaranteed Admissions initiative.
GCU is known for its transfer-friendly policies and the new Guaranteed Admissions initiative brings successful Brookdale Community College graduates one step closer to earning a bachelor's degree, effective Fall 2014. The new Guaranteed Admissions plan builds upon the schools' longstanding dual admissions agreement. It is separate from GCU and Brookdale's existing Communiversity partnership (offered in Wall Township).
Here's how the Guaranteed Admissions initiative works:
High-achieving Brookdale graduates who are ready for the next level of education can enroll in a bachelor's program at Georgian Court's historic Lakewood location and receive up to a 52% discount on tuition. The percentage discount is based on the student's Brookdale grade point average. (See FAQs for details.)
Not only does the Guaranteed Admissions initiative help save money, but the seamless transfer process saves time, too, by keeping students on track to earning a bachelor's degree.
More than ever, leaders in higher education want to solve issues of access and affordability while reinforcing the longterm value in getting a college degree. By building on the success that Brookdale students achieve while completing their associate's degree, and GCU stands ready to invest in their continued success.
